The control system is based upon standardised, easily interchangeable basic units and ergonomic design. All controllers are protected against mechanical damage.

Datek joysticks are delivered with 2, 4 and 6 clearly defined speed steps or proportional control with analogue output for control of AC or DC variable speed drive units.

Well defined off positions prevent manoeuvring errors.

All movements can be controlled simultaneously.

A special joystick enables an operator to control cranes and crabs individually and/or in tandem using the same hand grip.

Multi-operator mode allows up to 3 operators to control 1-3 cranes individually or in tandem.

The crane operator have exclusive control of the crane/cranes until he actively relinquishes that control.

The system can handle up to 68 on/off functions.
