Q Rundancy PLC systemThe QnPRH is Mitsubishi's most sophisticated controller system, and represents the top end of the Q Series Automation Platform line. It offers Tri-Level Redundancy ™ which insures complete immunity to process interruptions caused by power or system failures. QS Safety PLC systemMitsubishi Electric Automation is introducing the latest stage in the evolution of the highly successful MELSEC Q Series Automation Platform and the CC-Link device level network. The MELSEC QS Safety programmable logic controller (PLC) is a fully certified safety PLC that has been designed to leverage the proven technology pedigree of the Q Series Automation Platform. The QS is an IEC 61508 SIL 3/EN 954 Category 4 certified Safety PLC suitable for all critical safety applications. It has sufficient scalability to handle the critical safety needs of an entire production line or a single machine. Nevertheless, it minimizes the learning curve of existing MELSEC users by leveraging existing knowledge of the GX Developer engineering suite. |

SoftwareMitsubishi PLC software packages are Microsoft Windows based XP compatable. Three pakages are available for selection. The selection is based on PLC model, and program complexity. The three packages have been developed to provide easy user operation, full documentation, monitoring and editing capabilities as standard.

PLC Programming CablesMitsubishi PLC equipment uses a dedicated programming cable. Three cables are available SC00, SC02, SC-Q. These cables cover theFX series, AnS series, and Q Sereis PLC equipment.
